The Machine:
Jan Schakowsky, Democratic Queen

Jan Schakowsky is an elected public official. It is her duty to obey her employee handbook, the US Constitution. Unfortunately, Jan has failed to complete the single most important job task a Congresswoman is supposed to do: uphold her oath to the Constitution.

Jan is our employee. Our taxpayer dollars fund her paycheck. We are supposed be the watchdog for politicians like Jan. After all, we are her boss. Jan has abused the powers authorized to her in the US Constitution. Jan's supremacy and arrogance is that of a queen.

Queen Jan's elitism is glaringly evident in her stance towards gun rights. Jan enjoys the luxury of having access to armed security personnel for her own safety, yet she doesn't believe Americans should be allowed to carry concealed handguns for self-defense. And Queen Jan fails to understand the main purpose of the Second Amendment: to empower citizens with firearms to keep the government in check. Jan is okay with government officals having unlimited access to guns, yet she thinks it's okay limit citizens' access to guns. In short, Queen Jan supports gun control laws which diminish our valuable Second Amendment. Her position is not only hypocritical, it's unconstitutional.

Queen Jan is soft on the drug war. She takes teensy weeny baby steps in acknowledging that the "drug war hasn't worked," but has yet to come forward with any notable proposal, such as suggesting to repeal the Harrison Narcotics Act of 1914 or ordering the disbandment of the Drug Enforcement Agency. The criminalization of drugs is unconstitutional, breeds violence, overpopulates our prisons, disproportionately affects minorities, is costing us billions, and has no apparent positive effect upon our society -- yet Jan does nothing significant to resolve this disaster.

Queen Jan is in denial. She fails to acknowledge that Social Security is a flop. Jan is stuck in the old era of the New Deal, still thinking that the government-run pay-as-you-go system is a great retirement plan. The reality is, Social Security is expected to be in the red by 2012. Not so great after all. The question isn't whether or not we can rely on Social Security. Rather, the real question is, just how soon can we privatize the nation's retirement plan? The sooner, the better. But don't expect Queen Jan to lead the way. She still has blind faith in the government-run Ponzi scheme. Social Security is a con game, and Jan's part of it.

Queen Jan has abused her oath to uphold the US Constitution in numerous other ways. She's pushed for government-sponsored programs, federal subsidies, female entitlements, regulation, economic controls on businesses and people, taxation, housing entitlements, corporate welfare, citizen welfare, government-run healthcare, intervention and foreign meddling, police state controls, privacy invasions, and the list goes on and on.

The tentacles of her Machine are expansive and far-reaching. Like most politicians, Queen Jan campaigns while at work. She utilizes expensive consultants to oversee her so-called "grassroots" lobbying, generate "persuasion mail," and produce other propaganda materials. Meanwhile, the person who Jan pays to create all this packaged fanfare is her husband, Robert Creamer! Queen Jan directs taxpayer dollars right back to her family. An incestuous affair, to say the least.

Queen Jan is an Old School Democrat. She believes in dependence upon, rather than independence from, the government. If elected again, Jan will continue to abuse her power as she has done for years. Shutting down Jan's Machine is long overdue. Let's put an end to this corruption and mayhem. Out with the old and in with the new: Stephanie Sailor.
